The DC Fragrance Center is a family owned business based in Washington, D.C., however the company was not named for it's location. Although it does tie in very nicely!
In 2002, a mother and daughter team, Deloris and Ciera Snoddy, began what is now one of the Washington Metropolitan area's best kept secrets. Since being native Washingtonians and having the DC initials, Deloris and Ciera decided that the name would give a nice personal flair to their home based body care business. "I have an obsession with smelling good, so why not concentrate on my passion and my hobby," says Deloris, the owner and founder of The DC Fragrance Center. "I love my job but it is more fun than work to me."
The DC Fragrance Center has designed gift baskets and spa packages for local radio personalities, several executive and government offices, Washington area social clubs, and college sororities and fraternities. Each bath and body care item is carefully prepared and scented by hand when the order is placed. Nothing is mass produced.
The Spa Inspirations skin care line consists of products that are comprised of all natural ingredients. Herbs, butters, plant extracts, essential oils, and several other raw materials are used to make facial scrubs, bath milk, sugar or salt exfoliants, facial cleansers, moisturizing foot cream, and much more. Fragrance oils can be added to bath milk and body sugars to add a preferred scent to your bathing or shower routine, but they are never added to facial care products.
The Spa Inspirations facial care products are also prepared by hand upon order placement, so they are always fresh. And they contain natural extracts and essential oils only. No fragrance oils!
